●彼は一人になるのが嫌で, 不良仲間からを抜けないでいる. He hates being by himself, so 「he can't pull out of the gang [he stays in this group of delinquents]. | The reason he doesn't 「leave [pull out of, extract himself from] this gang of delinquents is that he hates being by himself.

足を伸ばす 1 〔楽な姿勢になる〕 stretch one's legs; get comfortable; relax.
●どうぞを伸ばしてゆっくりしてください. Make yourself 「comfortable [at home] and relax. | Relax and stretch your legs (for a while).
2 〔さらに遠くに行く〕 extend [lengthen] one's journey; go 《a few miles》 further; go on (to…).
●上京したついでにを伸ばして, 鎌倉を散策してきた. As I was in Tokyo anyway I 「went on [extended my journey] to Kamakura and had a walk around.

・世界にはだれもを踏み入れたことがない地域がたくさんある. There are many places in the world that nobody has 「set foot in [gone to, visited, traveled to]. | There are many areas of the world that have never been visited by human beings.

●私財を投げ出してわれわれを救ってくれたあの人にはを向けて寝られない. We should 「always be grateful to [never forget] that person for having come to our rescue with her own savings.
